The repair was denied because they told me the whole rear window assembly (glass) would have to be replaced. Glass is not covered in the service contract. The plastic track where the cable drive system attaches to the sliding glass deformed and allowed the cable to pull out. The dealers suggestion was to epoxy the cable into the track to fix it.
